A.Paul, born in Lisbon in 1971, embraced electronic music in 1986, inspired by disco, funk, and electro. Joining Illegal Records and the X-Club DJ Agency, he performed alongside luminaries like Juan Atkins and Blake Baxter. Voted Best Portuguese Techno DJ three times, A.Paul co-founded Naked Lunch Records and MPC Vinyl Distribution with Cisco Ferreira (The Advent) and Michaelangelo, showcasing a diverse sound at global events. He made a significant impact on our label with remixes on Orlando Voorn's 'No Fear EP' and Jamez & Soulboy's 'Induction.' Orlando Voorn began his career in 1985 alongside influential figures like Juan Atkins and Blake Baxter, shaping the label's underground style. Jamez' legacy lives on in Repressure Recordings, inspiring our commitment to 'Soulminded from the heart of techno,' a slogan he created, keeping his memory alive.
